What is included in my pledge tier?

The main campaign page (click “Campaign” in the header!) details everything in a given pledge tier! Locate the tier you are interested in and underneath will be images of everything in that tier as well as an itemized list of everything that’s included.

Additionally you’ll want to look at the stretch goals! The stretch goals will list all current goals as well as goals that have been reached. It will state under each stretch goal what tiers (if any) it’ll be in!

This will show you the current stretch goals and stretch goals we’ve reached as well as tiers they will be in and, if applicable, prices as add-ons. Please be sure to read over it carefully!

When will you begin fulfillment?

Based on our original timeline, we expect to be able to release the PDF in May 2023 and begin fulfillment of physical rewards in January 2024. Please be aware that this doesn’t include stretch goal rewards and their estimates can be found on the campaign page.

I pledged for a digital-only tier and am unable to add physical add-ons. How can I add them?

In order to add physical add-ons, you’ll need to change to a pledge tier that has physical rewards! Unfortunately, digital tiers are not eligible for physical add-ons.

Will you be using a pledge manager after the campaign ends?

Yes, we will be using BackerKit (https://www.backerkit.com/for-backers)! You’ll want to ensure your Kickstarter email address is correct and will match the email you use for BackerKit. Additionally, please ensure your email address is not a Private Apple ID relay email address.

Based on the original timeline, we expect to send surveys out in May 2023.

I’d like to pledge for this project but am unable to at this time. How can I get the rewards?

If you pledge for as little as $1 while the campaign is live, you will be granted access to the BackerKit survey where you can upgrade your pledge!

How is shipping calculated? Will the shipping cost cover import fees/customs fees/VAT?

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the size and weight of the package. Check out the table on the campaign page for our estimates!

Shipping costs do not include any additional costs like import or customs fees and are the responsibility of the backer.

What can we expect from shipping and fulfillment for this campaign?

Shipping will be charged closer to the freight shipping phase (Q3 2023) and fulfilled via Flying Cloud. See below for an estimate of what those charges will be like! Shipping will be weight-based, based on your full order.

I want to pledge for one of the Your Choice of Book tiers but want the PDF of the other choice. Can I mix-and-match these in my pledge?

Yes! You can pledge to get the physical copy of Big Bads and choose the Creatures and Curios PDF or vice versa! You can do this in the Your Choice of Book tier and the Deluxe Your Choice of Book tier.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
